WesCal Wealth provides comprehensive financial planning and investment management services tailored to individuals and families with $1 million or more in investable assets. The firm is intentionally small by design—clients work directly with the founder and principal wealth advisor, Casey Mervine, Certified Wealth Strategist® with over 30 years experience in financial services. We do not sell financial products, accept commissions, or delegate client relationships to others. The firm is compensated solely through transparent, asset-based fees. Investment assets are held with a third-party custodian, Schwab Advisor Services, for safekeeping and client protection.

Working with WesCal Wealth is designed to be straightforward, transparent, and personal. Here’s what the client experience looks like:

1. Initial Consultation. We start with a conversation to understand your goals, background, and concerns. There’s no obligation—just an opportunity to explore whether the relationship is a good fit.
2. Information Gathering. If we decide to move forward, we gather detailed information about your financial life—assets, liabilities, income, expenses, estate documents, and tax returns—to build a complete picture.
3. Planning and Analysis. We develop a customized financial plan using a dynamic platform that allows us to test different scenarios and strategies. This includes retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning coordination, and investment alignment.
4. Implementation. Once the plan is reviewed and approved, we begin implementing strategies across accounts, tax planning, and estate coordination. We work with your existing professionals—CPAs, attorneys—as needed.
5. Ongoing Management and Review. Financial planning is not a one-time event. We review your plan regularly, monitor investment performance, and stay responsive to changes in your life or the markets. Meetings can be scheduled as often as needed, and clients have access to their plan online at any time.
6. Transparent Communication. You will always work directly with the principal wealth advisor. There are no junior planners, call centers, or handoffs. Communication is clear, direct, and timely.
